Oliver Stelling (史特林) is a senior communications adviser to governments, institutions and corporate leaders. His work covers a wide range of industries and professional practices and is focused on resolving top priority communications challenges, building and protecting reputations, navigating crises and creating winning campaigns in the rising economies of the Middle East and Asia.
Oliver served as Regional Head of Strategy, Country Manager and Corporate Practice Head for global consultancies including Burson-Marsteller, Weber Shandwick and Hill+Knowlton Strategies in Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, China and the UAE. He founded FutureScore Communications, advising clients in mainland China and the Middle East region. A native of Bonn, Oliver began his career with Shandwick Germany, working with sub-Saharan clients and US tech firms on their expansion into Europe.
Oliver is a NED with Malaysian think tank Centre for New Inclusive Asia (CNIA) and a GLG Council member for EM communications. He frequently comments on Asian connectivity, strategic communications and reputation. Oliver is married to Donna, an expert in sports diplomacy, and has traveled all over Asia since the mid-Eighties.
